Our client who works in the medical industry is looking to recruit a CGT Support Officer.

The Clinical Quality and Training Support Officer provides essential administrative, technical, and analytical support to the Clinical Quality and Training team at Head Office, with a particular focus on developing, compiling, and managing clinical and operational reports. The role ensures that all documentation is accurate, accessible, and professionally presented, while also supporting the creation of training materials, data dashboards, and communications that promote continuous improvement across the organisation’s clinical functions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and monitor all Clinical Governance and Training (CGT) reporting requirements, maintaining a structured calendar of deadlines and key deliverables;

- Gather, validate, and consolidate data from various sources, including operational sites and internal departments, to produce accurate and timely reports;

- Analyse data sets to identify trends and extract meaningful insights to support informed decision-making;

- Create and format reports, summaries, and dashboards in line with CGT and governance standards;

- Ensure all CGT reports and outputs are consistent, accurate, and professionally presented;

- Data Management and Reporting: Transform raw data into actionable insights through comprehensive analysis and detailed reporting;

- Documentation Audit and Feedback for Medical Staff: Carry out audits and evaluations, and compile feedback aimed at enhancing compliance and improving operational processes;

- Oversee the coordination of the Clinical Governance and Training (CGT) team’s calendar, meetings, and task management to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of deliverables;

- Communicate with on-site medical staff and support teams to collect necessary documentation and address any inconsistencies or issue;

- Assist in the development, review, and upkeep of CGT-related materials, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Medical Emergency Response Plans (MERPs), drug and consumable standard lists, and various reports;

- Arrange and document minutes for CGT meetings, ensuring action points are followed up and records are accurately maintained;

- Develop and manage Excel spreadsheets with built-in formulas to facilitate data analysis and reporting;

- Assist in the continuous improvement and user training of the Clinical Information System (CIS);

- Support the upkeep of standardised drug and consumables lists in coordination with Procurement, Biomedical, and Clinical Governance and Training (CGT) teams;

- Design and develop training materials such as process maps, instructional guides, and PowerPoint presentations based on Clinical Governance and Training (CGT) content;

- Produce visual resources and documentation that simplify complex procedures and encourage best practices within the clinical team;

- Support the delivery of training sessions and briefings focused on CGT systems and workflows;

- Create engaging instructional content, including videos and step-by-step workflows, to improve operational efficiency and user proficiency;

- Provide support for the Clinical Information System (CIS) by developing relevant training resources and leading user training sessions;

- Conduct thorough audits and evaluations of clinical documentation to ensure compliance with governance standards;

- Deliver clear, structured feedback to medical teams to enhance documentation quality and support regulatory adherence

Qualifications & Experience:

- A diploma or higher qualification in health sciences, healthcare administration, or healthcare management is preferred;

- Additional training or certification in Microsoft Excel, data analytics tools, or healthcare software platforms (e.g., electronic medical records) is advantageous;

- Prior experience in report writing and proofreading, preferably involving medical documentation;

- Ideally, at least 2 years of experience in a similar or related role, particularly within the healthcare sector;

- Proven experience in drafting high-level reports in English for executive or board audiences;

- Skilled in developing presentations, with a preference for medical or clinical subject matter;

- Proficient in organising data and presenting it visually through tables, charts, and flow diagrams.
