Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join his team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of all modes of transportation and warehousing services, with a proven track record in project cargo, aerospace, and oil & gas industries. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team to drive new business opportunities and foster strategic partnerships.

Main responsibilities of the role:-

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Analyse competitors and market conditions to develop strategies that differentiate our services.
  • Identify and engage potential clients in the logistics and supply chain sector, focusing on all modes of transportation and warehousing services.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and networking.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Leverage expertise in project cargo, aerospace, and oil & gas industries to position our services as the preferred choice.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in target industries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of business development strategies with operational capabilities.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members as needed.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of all modes of transportation and warehousing services, with a proven track record in project cargo, aerospace, and oil & gas industries. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team to drive new business opportunities and foster strategic partnerships.
