Are you an experienced lawyer with exposure to the Investments or Funds industry and are looking for a new opportunity that offers progression and immense exposure? Our client is one of Malta's leading law firms who offer an array of legal services to both local and international clients and are now seeking to grow their Investments and Funds team with the acquisition of a Senior Associate and an Associate.
Under the direction of a highly experienced Partner, the new members of the team will be involved in the structuring and licensing of investment funds, advising asset managers in relation to compliance and regulatory requirements, drafting and negotiating material fund contracts as well as advising on MiFID related issues for the portfolio of clients.
As a Senior Associate, you will also be tasked with supervising the Associates and Junior Associates of the team and working hand in hand with the Head of Department/Partner to ensure performance excellence and overall staff retention.
As an Associate, you will be guided by the industry experts within the team to allow you to further develop your skillset within this area with a clear career path to reach a Senior Associate level.
Who are you?
This role requires a warranted Lawyer with experience in the investments and funds industry, either from an advisory or internal perspective, with the ambition to further develop your skills in this sector. Although holding a Maltese warrant would be preferred, candidates with an international qualification with local experience would also be considered. Candidates with a range of years of experience would be welcomed and considered for the most suitable-level position accordingly.
