One of our clients is looking for a full-time Assistant Purchasing Manager to ensure that all required materials are available in a timely manner.
Main duties:
- Coordinate purchases such as merchandising, spare parts, consumables and other necessary materials
- Manage the warehouse
- Ensure SAP system is updated and implement modules with suppliers, items and prices
- Propose new procurement policies and purchasing processes
- Prepare and present purchasing and storing reports
- Identify reliable suppliers
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and have at least 3 years of experience in a supply chain role. He/she is well organised, has good computer skills and communicates effectively in English and Maltese. Previous experience in the FMCG industry and knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset.
This is a 100% on-site role and the company offers a competitive salary.
