The Assistant Manager (Quality Assurance) plays a key role in supporting the organisation’s oversight, evaluation, and continuous improvement of internal processes. This role ensures adherence to quality standards, regulatory frameworks, and operational excellence through structured reviews, analysis, and collaboration across teams.

Job Description
• Supports the drafting of the annual risk-based quality assurance programme.
• Conducts Quality Assurance Reviews of internal policies, procedures, and operations within timelines established in the annual QA plan and in alignment with QA procedures.
• Performs ad-hoc compliance and substantive testing as required.
• Presents findings and evidence, and proposes recommendations to address operational weaknesses and enhance process efficiency.
• Assists in preparing and presenting the annual Quality Assurance report.
• Monitors and follows up on the implementation of agreed-upon recommendations.
• Participates in conferences, seminars, workshops, and internal committees to remain up to date with developments and updates in the AML/CFT legislative and institutional framework at both local and international levels.
• Provides ad-hoc support for evaluations, assessments, and studies conducted by international bodies such as the EU, Egmont, MONEYVAL, FATF, and other relevant organisations.
• Carries out any other duties assigned by senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience Required
• An MQF Level 6 qualification with a minimum of 5 years’ experience—preferably in AML/CFT—including at least 1 year in a senior role; OR an MQF Level 5 qualification with at least 7 years’ experience, preferably in AML/CFT.
• Proven record of efficiency, diligence, creativity, and a solution-oriented approach in a relevant position.
• Strong organisational, reasoning, analytical, and comprehension skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and leading tasks or projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience in internal audit is considered an asset, though not essential, with support provided to develop these skills on the job.
