Our client is looking for an Application Solutions Specialist as our Technology & Information Security function continues to expand.

Qualifications & Experience

  • An MQF Level 6 qualification in Computer Science with a minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience, OR
  • An MQF Level 5 qualification in Computer Science with a minimum of four (4) years’ relevant experience.
  • Proven experience administering enterprise CRM or ERP platforms, including process flow design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with enterprise web applications, database operations, and SQL within a Microsoft technology stack.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and planning abilities.
  • Customer-service oriented with strong attention to user needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong team player with a willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues.
  • Fluency in English and Maltese.
  • Confidence in managing complex processes involving cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for business applications used internally and by third parties.
  • Maintain, enhance, and configure workflows, functions, and system settings across relevant application environments.
  • Collaborate with end-users to design, optimize, test, and manage workflow rules, data validation processes, and triggers.
  • Document implemented workflows, data mappings, and technical considerations, ensuring knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Analyse and propose solutions for new data mapping requirements, including feasibility assessments.
  • Support the delivery of data collection and system development projects while maintaining high standards of quality and timely execution.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, security, and quality teams to ensure system integration, performance, and product quality.
  • Stay up to date with new system features, user challenges, and evolving technological capabilities.
  • Coordinate with technical teams on the management of web servers, backend databases, file-sharing services, and related technologies.
  • Support data and analytics teams by providing insights into operational data architecture and communicating system changes.
  • Perform daily system administration tasks and resolve production support issues as required.
  • Participate in security assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within business applications.
  • Assist in developing system integrations with internal and third-party platforms through APIs.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of ETL processes for internal systems.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
