Join our clients dynamic team and contribute significantly as an Accounts Executive! As an integral part of their organisation, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing financial aspects and supporting growth within their organisation.  

Main responsibilities:

  • Verify and allocate information regarding accounts receivable transactions. 
  • Process accounts payable transactions and complete monthly payment runs upon approval from the Managing Director.
  • Record all petty cash transactions into the accounting system and oversee the petty cash system.
  • Manage weekly administration of bank deposits.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations on a weekly basis.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Gather, document, and enter employees' weekly timesheets, incorporating details such as leave and adjustments to payroll.
  • Collect invoices and costings from the Office Coordinator and input all costings into the accounting system.
  • Generate monthly revenue reports for the Managing Director as needed.
  • Compile and complete declaration sheets for the National Statistics Office.
  • Facilitate the arrangement of regulatory filings and reporting processes.
  • Manage the compilation and provision of information to external auditors during the annual audit.
  • Foster and maintain external connections with banking and other institutions.
  • Prepare and finalise quarterly management accounts, oversee budget preparation and financial forecasting, and report on variances.
  • Issue accurate financial statements and operating reports, offering essential financial analyses for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
  • Fulfill any other duties assigned periodically.

The preferred candidate for this position ideally must have a background of three to five years in accounting and be actively working towards an accounting qualification. Moreover, they should have a solid understanding of local and corporate regulations and laws. In terms of job skills, the candidate should showcase the ability to comprehend and adhere to complex instructions, strong organisational abilities, accurate numerical work. The candidate must possess strong communication skills, both spoken and written English. In terms of computer skills, the candidate should preferably be proficient in using Shireburn, Xero, and Indigo software, as well as demonstrating proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
