Our client is looking to recruit an Accounts clerk within their Finance and Accounts department. Reporting into the Finance Manager, the selected candidate will be mainly required to provide the most efficient, reliable and timely service in support to the smooth running of the department.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Record stock adjustments and journal entries in the appropriate ledgers;
- Perform accounts receivable reconciliations;
- Conduct bank and other nominal account reconciliations;
- Manage petty cash transactions;
- Process client payments;
- Coordinate with the logistics department to conduct weekly cycle counts;
- Perform truck reconciliations.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Have at least an ‘O’ level qualification in accounts;
- Have good communication and organisational skills;
- Be ICT literate;
- Be ready to work flexibly in a team.
- Experience would be considered an asset
