An international trust boutique firm that typically offers trust and corporate services to entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals and family-owned businesses among others, is currently seeking a qualified accountant to join their client accounting team in Malta.
The role of accountant requires a hard-working individual that has the ability to work both independently and, in a team, and the key responsibilities of this role consist of the following:
- Responsible for the day-to-day accounting, administration and financial reporting of a portfolio of clients;
- Preparation of management accountants; annual financial statements; tax returns, refund claims and VAT returns; payroll and regulatory reporting;
- Liaise with auditors when necessary;
- Assist with transactions which includes set ups, liquidations, acquisitions, disposals as well as funding arrangements;
