Our client is looking to recruit an Accountant to join their team.
This role is suited for ambitious professionals with proven experience in a similar position. Ideally, candidates will hold a professional qualification in accounting or be in the final stages of completing their studies. Below are the key responsibilities and required competencies for the position.
- Manage client communications and queries, including attending meetings as required.
- Oversee and support accounts teams to ensure efficient operations;
- Perform bank and other reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner;
- Liaise with external auditors and coordinate audit-related matters;
- Review and assess internal controls to ensure compliance and effectiveness;
- Prepare management accounts and other ad hoc financial reports as required.
Requirements:
- Preferably fully qualified or in the final stages of obtaining an accounting qualification;
- Strong command of the English language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Relevant experience will be considered an asset;
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment;
- Goal-oriented with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
